Round 1: McGibbons Provenance 11 Year Old

Fun Facts:

  • Douglas Laing’s Provenance Single Malts are bottled exactly as the distiller intended – without colouring and without chill filtration, so that the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the Whisky are allowed to make their own special contribution to the nose, mouthfeel, palate and finish..

NSC Comments:

  • (sigh) – Allowed a meeting without proper supervision, the Scotch Club failed to collect comments. But I hear the evening was a blast!

Round 2: Glenfaclas 105 Cask Strength 10 Year Old

Fun Facts:

  • Glenfarclas means “Valley of the green grass”.
  • Its still-house is modern and its stills the biggest on Speyside. They are heated by gas flame.
